Digis seeks aSenior Data Engineer with deep expertise in building data pipelines and integrating healthcare data. You will report directly tothe Head ofAI and Engineering and work inahigh-autonomy environment with fast iteration cycles.

, specializing inAI-powered clinical support. Aplatform that helps dermatologists make faster and more accurate diagnostic decisions by integrating patient data and medical images directly from Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
This isapre-seed stage company founded in2023, with anMVP built, live pilots running with early clinical customers, and now growing into afull-scale product rollout and advanced ML/AI-powered services.
This isanopportunity tobeanearly engineering hire and have amassive impact onaproduct that directly improves patient outcomes.
Methodology: High independence, fast iteration, with weekly check-ins (nostrict Agile framework).
Schedule: Apreferred overlap of3–4 hours with Pacific Time (California), typically until 20:00 Kyiv time.

What you’ll do:

• Design and run data pipelines for clinical event ingestion
• Build real-time integrations with Epic via FHIR/HL7
  
  APIs
• Connect pipelines to downstream
  
  ML inference modules
• Ensure proper error handling, observability, and updates
• Help support diagnostic workflows with structured medical data

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience asaData Engineer (5+years)
• Proficiency with SQL/relational databases (4+years)
• Experience inthe Healthcare domain
• English proficiency sufficient for technical discussions/interviews.
• Familiarity with Cloud environments and data privacy (HIPAA) isaplus.
