We are looking for a highly motivated Application Engineer who will be responsible for the technical selling and support of Siemens EDA s Verification IP (VIP) portfolio across the EMEA region. As an Application Engineer (AE), you’ll play a pivotal role as the bridge between Siemens EDA and our customers. This dynamic and challenging position demands profound technical expertise, robust communications, and exemplary business skills.

Collaborating with businesses spanning diverse technology sectors, you’ll assist our customers in tackling technical and business challenges using Siemens EDA s innovative verification solutions. As part of our technical sales team, you ll contribute to the growth of Siemens EDA s functional verification business in EMEA by ensuring the successful adoption and expansion of our products and services.

As a Verification IP AE, you will identify and qualify engagements based on customers  needs and business opportunities, define VIP evaluations and benchmark criteria, implement relevant technical campaigns to meet established goals considering customers  production flows, provide best-in-class support, and work with account managers to determine the sales execution strategy. You will ensure both the customers  success and the broader use of Siemens EDA s VIP solutions.

Our application engineering team is a creative, dynamic, and highly productive small team environment.

Work location is in Europe with the applicant expected to be able to easily travel within the European Union and other EMEA countries such as the UK and Israel. This position can entail as much as 20% travel.

• The primary purpose is to work with sales and field technical team members to help lead, define, and implement the technical engagements that support sales campaigns.
• Provide technical leadership on all aspects of sales campaigns. Contribute and complete pre-sales and post-sales account strategies as a member of the sales team.
• Qualify the technical viability of sales opportunities and communicate them to the sales team.
• Lead VIP portfolio presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and effectively communicate the value proposition of Siemens EDA solutions to them
• Integrate VIP in customer testbench or guide them to do so themselves.
• Proactively share account, evaluation, competitor, technology, and other helpful information with peers, sales teams, management, and product divisions to help us compete more effectively.
• Develop and maintain ongoing positive relationships with customers.
• Ensure customers receive timely, effective support
• Influence marketing and product groups to meet customers’ needs and shape product direction.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success.

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Practical experience and knowledge of one or more high-speed interface protocols such as PCIe, CXL, UCIe, NVMe, Ethernet, USB, DDRx, HBM, AMBA.
• Knowledge of controllers for one or more high-speed interface protocols
• Expertise in coding with System Verilog, and UVM is mandatory
• Experience with integrating commercial VIP in SV/UVM bench required.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments including scripting languages.
• Individual leadership and initiative to manage pre-sales accounts
• Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills
• Strong project management skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
