As an Internship and College Relations Coordinator, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day logistics of the internship and college relations program by maintaining program documentation, coordinating communication with internal departments and external partners, and ensuring a seamless experience for interns.
This position is expected to function effectively with regular supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage and maintain comprehensive intern records, ensuring alignment with Bethany’s internship framework, organizational policies, and legal requirements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for intern inquiries and support needs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and student organizations to strengthen recruitment pipelines
- Oversee designated internship email inboxes, ensuring timely and professional communication with prospective interns and academic partners
- Maintain up to date the internship database/tracking and provide reporting as needed
- Lead monthly and annual program evaluation processes, including collecting feedback and preparing summary reports
- Coordinate logistics for career fairs, campus visits, and virtual info sessions
- Assist in developing promotional materials, presentations and recruitment content
- Support the Internship & College Relations Manager in planning and executing strategic projects, including program enhancements, process redesigns, and new college and university partnership initiatives
- Compile and analyze, and present internship program metrics for quarterly and annual reporting
- Follow and maintain processes, procedures, and best practices as it relates to Bethany’s internship framework
- Serve as the primary back-up support to the Talent Acquisition Compliance Specialist
- Provide project-based and operational support to the broader Talent Acquisition team as needed, including assisting with recruitment initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional coordination
- Bachelor’s level degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least one (1) year of experience in a similar role
- Experience supporting internship or college relations programs; preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must have an ability to provide excellent and compassionate customer service
- Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality
- Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks
- Working knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage
- Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
- Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity
