Overview
Location: Colorado (In-person only)
Reports to: Executive Leadership
Industry: Law Firm / Professional Services
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
Role: The Human Resources & Office Manager oversees people operations and office management, ensuring smooth onboarding, payroll, recruiting, and day-to-day office administration. This role is central to employee experience, compliance, and internal operational support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and highly organized, with a strong understanding of HR processes in a professional services setting.
Responsibilities- Human Resources Operations
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
- Administer payroll, including bonuses and special payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Track employee time-off, benefits, and vacation records.
- Support performance review cycles and follow-up actions.
- Recruitment & Hiring
- Coordinate recruiting efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain candidate pipelines, referral tracking, and hiring documentation.
- Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Office Management & Administration
- Oversee daily office operations, facilities, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate office services, supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
- Manage software licenses and administrative systems.
- Process invoices, approvals, and operational expenses related to office and HR functions.
- Employee Support & Culture
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and support needs.
- Assist with internal communications, resources, and staff initiatives.
- Coordinate employee events, celebrations, and internal activities.
- Promote a positive, organized, and compliant workplace environment.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and manuals are up to date.
- Support compliance with employment laws and internal standards.
- Coordinate documentation related to employees and contractors.
- Experience in HR, office management, or people operations (law firm or professional services preferred).
- Strong understanding of onboarding, payroll, and recruiting processes.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a growing team.
- Proficiency with HR systems, payroll platforms, and administrative tools.
