Overview
This key role provides OD consultancy and interventions and learning & development delivery expertise across our organisation. Its part of our delivery of NHSCFA's People strategy and supporting the organisation and its teams in the delivery of their responsibilities.
To role supports the Workforce Development and Inclusion Lead and the team to implement a range of key learning and organisational development projects and support the development of a learning and inclusive culture.
Our ideal candidate will have significant demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in an organisational development/learning role and have a professional qualification in this field.
The role requires regular travel to our Coventry, London and Newcastle offices. Our team meetings/events are held at our Coventry office.

Role and Responsibilities- Act as operational lead and subject matter expert on learning, inclusivity and organisational development in the workplace in conjunction with the Workforce Development & Inclusion lead.
- Work collaboratively across the People and Workforce Development team and other stakeholders using a variety of ways, to explore specific elements of the People strategy supporting the development of a learning and inclusive culture.
- Develop and embed organisational development and learning initiatives, using influencing, persuasion, negotiation skills to get the required insights to support project planning and decision making and recommendations for interventions and programmes.
- Work in environments where there may be significant barriers in understanding of complex processes which need to be overcome using developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Provide advice and support to managers on a range of learning and development issues including skills gap analysis, learning needs analysis, leadership development, succession planning and talent and performance management.
- Provide organisational development consultancy and diagnostic services to design and deliver OD interventions that deliver sustainable change and support that are proportionate and pragmatic.
- Analyse the outcomes from internal surveys to identify opportunities where organisational development or learning can strengthen people development and engagement.
- Proactively identify future learning and development requirements for departments.
- Other related duties as required to support the People and Workforce Development functions.
