The salary range for this position is $59,661.54 to $96,767.80 for Schedule A, and $59,661.54 to $91,929.42 for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A.
Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

Remote WorkThe Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high‑speed home internet access.
Submission of a cover letter is preferred but not required. Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
Responsibilities- Cross‑train HR staff; provide recommendations to HR manager and supervisor; interpret union contracts, Judiciary policies and procedures, and communicate this information to employees, customers and other team members.
- Participate in HR weekly staff meetings.
- Conduct new employee orientation sessions.
- Assist the division by facilitating the recruitment process through Neo Gov for designated recruitment, including creating job postings, qualifying resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Ensure all recruitment tasks are monitored and performed timely and efficiently.
- Assist with benefits and leave‑related matters, including conducting benefit orientations, handling leave request meetings with employees; reviewing and making recommendations on FMLA/FLA, donated leave requests, and workers’ compensation claims.
- Process benefit pre‑payments for employees on a leave absence.
- Authorize FMLA and leave requests in eCATS and process PMIS transactions for leaves.
- Process and monitor all employee relations matters.
- Schedule discipline hearings and prepare discovery information for management and the Hearing Officer.
- Process regular and supplemental payroll on a weekly basis, track employee timesheets in eCATS, generate timesheet reports in Business Objects, communicate with management, Judges, and staff who are not in compliance with deadlines; calculate and review the salary increase spreadsheets; and prepare and process all PMIS and JHRIS transactions.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree.
ExperienceThree years of professional experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, salary administration, classification, labor/employee relations, training, selection/recruitment and/or Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action.
