Role Overview

The Compliance and On‑Boarding Administrator plays a key role in safeguarding the quality and safety of the workforce by ensuring all recruitment activity meets statutory and company standards. You will work closely with Recruiters to progress candidates quickly and efficiently from offer to deployment, providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities
Compliance Checks
  • Conduct Right to Work verifications in line with Home Office legislation.
  • Process and track DBS applications and conduct Update Service checks.
  • Collect, validate, and store all required compliance documents (, address proofs, training certificates, CVs, references).
  • Ensure all candidates have the appropriate training, qualifications, and mandatory certifications.
  • Review employment history and highlight any gaps requiring clarification.
  • Complete risk assessments where required.
On‑Boarding Coordination
  • Guide candidates through each step of the on‑boarding journey.
  • Book and follow up on references, ensuring timely return.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records on our CRM.
  • Notify Recruiter when candidates become compliant and ready for deployment.
Communication & Support
  • Provide clear, friendly communication to candidates throughout the process.
  • Escalate concerns or delays to the Recruiter.
  • Work collaboratively with Recruiters to ensure a smooth handover from interview to on‑boarding.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in compliance, administration, HR, or recruitment (healthcare sector preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Right to Work, DBS, and employment compliance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
