Talent Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Are you a benefits expert who thrives on precision, strategy, and service? We’re looking for a Senior Benefits Specialist to lead the day-to-day administration and long-term evolution of our employee benefits and retirement programs.
In this role, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert for all things benefits—partnering with leadership, vendors, and employees to deliver a high-quality, compliant, and forward-thinking benefits experience.
What You’ll Do- Administer and oversee medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, and retirement plans (DB & DC).
- Lead annual open enrollment—from planning and carrier negotiations to communications and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Manage vendor and broker relationships, including performance monitoring and RFP processes.
- Support audits and Form 5500 preparation.
- Analyze benefits data and trends to inform strategy and recommendations.
- Develop clear, engaging benefits communications and training materials.
- Ensure data integrity across HRIS, payroll, and benefit carriers.
- Partner with HR leadership to refine and strengthen the overall benefits strategy.
- 5+ years of benefits administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of retirement plans (defined benefit and defined contribution).
- Experience with multi-state compliance.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Solid understanding of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Location:
The successful candidate will work in a hybrid capacity between our Home Office in Enumclaw, WA, and remotely. Candidate must live within driving distance of our Home Office and have high-speed internet (internet speed test required).
