Job Overview

The Talent & Culture Intern will support the coordination, and execution of key programs within the Talent & Culture pillar. This role provides hands‑on experience across talent management (performance management, talent review) and associate experience (onboarding, engagement, recognition) programs.

The Intern will collaborate with HR partners and cross‑functional teams to help deliver a positive employee experience, maintain program documentation, assist with communications, and support ongoing improvement of Talent & Culture programs. This is a developmental role designed for a student or early‑career professional looking to gain exposure to core HR programs.

What does it mean to be part of the Internship Program at UNFI?

This internship program offers current college students a hands‑on opportunity to explore UNFI and gain exposure to the core functions of our organization. Designed to bridge academic learning with real‑world application, the program provides a robust educational experience for undergraduates pursuing business and technology related degrees. Interns will engage in project‑based work across multiple disciplines, developing a strong understanding of the strategy, execution, and operations behind a leading grocery distribution organization.

The program aims to cultivate future leaders within UNFI and the broader grocery industry by enhancing the intern’s business acumen, professional skills, and industry knowledge through mentorship and business aptitude training.
