You’ll play a vital role in delivering tailored recruitment solutions, building strong candidate pipelines, and ensuring our clients hiring needs are met swiftly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and attract candidates using various platforms including CV databases, job boards, Linked In, and social media.
  • Conduct screening calls, telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Arrange interviews.
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and manage candidate talent pools for current and future vacancies.
  • Understand job specifications, qualifications, and experience required to fill each role.
  • Support pre‑employment checks and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and job leads by scanning the market and acting as the eyes and ears of the business.
  • Support sales activities by assisting in the placement process and hitting individual and team‑based KPIs.
  • Maintain and update internal systems and candidate portals.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure an efficient and professional recruitment experience.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in maritime recruitment, crewing, or seafarer placement.
  • Understanding of marine qualifications and Merchant Navy ranks/certifications.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to assess candidate suitability quickly.
  • Target‑driven with a sales‑orientated mindset.
  • Able to build rapport quickly and gain the confidence of candidates and clients.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Technically proficient in using recruitment tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Previous experience in maritime/crewing recruitment is essential.
  • Background in recruitment, sales, or customer service is highly desirable.
