Talent Manager, HR Manager

We are looking for a People Business Partner to join our People Strategy & Development team. Reporting to a Senior Manager, People Business Partner, you will act as a primary partner to mid-level and front-line leadership and their teams. In this role, you will navigate ambiguity to provide sophisticated coaching on complex employee relations, organizational design, and facilitate a high-performance culture.
You will be responsible for diagnosing talent trends and leading the delivery of people solutions that drive engagement, retention and other strategic priorities in a fast-paced, people-centric environment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to mid-level leadership and front-line managers, coaching them on team effectiveness, high-performance culture, and long-term talent development.
- Own and drive the execution of strategic people initiatives for your client group. Support change management for company-wide people initiatives, ensuring changes are understood and successfully adopted.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager to diagnose, design, and lead organizational development needs and interventions that align with business goals (e.g. career pathing, team effectiveness, etc.).
- Independently manage complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including high-risk performance cases and end-to-end investigations.
- Facilitate core people processes and programs for your client group, including annual compensation reviews, performance cycles, goal setting, and departures.
- Monitor people metrics and stay interview themes to identify trends and identify proactive solutions before challenges arise.
- Actively audit and influence organizational practices to ensure equity.
- 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years as a People Business Partner. (Experience supporting a Sales function is a plus!)
- Collaborative, team-oriented, approachable, and personable; able to build and maintain trusted relationships with employees at all levels.
- Able to understand the big picture and execute work that supports strategic direction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Action-oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, with the ability to follow through on commitments.
The national total target cash compensation range for this position, including base salary and bonus target, is $91,000 - $128,000 annually.*
