We are happy to be offering a Fixed Term Contract opportunity to join our supportive People and Culture team until September 2025. This is an ideal opportunity for someone keen to develop their HR career and who is interested in providing excellent HR advice to managers and staff. We will support professional studies to help build and develop your career.

Working as an People and Culture Advisor, supported by our experienced team, we are looking for energised individuals who will be excited to join us. The focus of these roles will be to have an immediate and positive impact in our support and advice within our Trust, being visible and accessible as a key member of the local teams, balanced with flexible hybrid working.

These roles can be based at our locations in either Norfolk or Suffolk.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone with good overall Employee Relations and HR knowledge, with proven experience of focusing on putting people before process.

We want someone who can gather and understand intelligence, specifically focusing on absence and performance management, as well as get involved in wider People and Culture related project work to increase your HR Generalist knowledge, and to help coach our leaders in supporting our staff. Communication is key. We are looking for someone who can communicate professionally with a wide spectrum of people to achieve the best outcome.

However, most importantly and in keeping with our trust values, we are looking for someone who has exceptional people and influencing skills as this role requires you to convey difficult decisions whilst having to maintain professional relationships.

Person Specification Experience
  • Provision of HR advice and support to managers and staff
Knowledge
  • A comprehensive knowledge of Employment law, professional HR developments and best practice
  • HR policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Part CIPD qualified or working towards or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
  • Post-Graduate Diploma in Personnel and Development with equivalent level knowledge and experience
