Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Human Resources Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Human Resources Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the HR department supporting organizational compliance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Human Resources Compliance Analyst

Location: VA (Remote)

Pay Range: $28.00

Shift: Days (30 hours/week)

What's the Job?
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, including wage and hour laws, time and attendance requirements, and mandated state sick leave programs.
  • Support FLSA classification reviews and compliance assessments to ensure accurate designations.
  • Assist with administration and compliance tracking related to background and substance screening programs and contract labor requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for EEO, affirmative action, and equal employment compliance; help identify trends or areas requiring corrective action.
  • Conduct periodic audits of employment practices, HR processes, and data integrity to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
What's Needed?
  • 3-5 years of HR experience with involvement in employment regulations, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and Title VII.
  • Experience with HRIS, compliance tracking tools, and audit documentation processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing clear reports and compliance summaries.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
