We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager for HR Applications:
Kronos, Workday, Healthstream. This role will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of our HR applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, coupled with extensive experience in managing HR applications, specifically Healthstream. This role is crucial to the successful operation of our HR department, and by extension, our entire organization. The Product Manager will be a key player in the development and execution of our HR technology strategy, ensuring that our systems and processes are optimized to meet the needs of our employees and our business.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
2. Define and implement product strategy and roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with the overall company and HR vision.
3. Collaborate with various internal teams (e.g., HR, IT, Operations, etc.) to define product requirements and develop implementation plans.
4. Lead the design, development, and management of HR applications, ensuring that they meet the needs of the business and its users.
5. Oversee the implementation of new HR applications and manage the upgrade of existing ones.
6. Conduct market research and stay abreast of the latest trends in HR technology.
7. Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships.
8. Provide training and support to HR application users.
9. Monitor the performance of HR applications and make necessary improvements.
10. Ensure that HR applications comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, HR, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, with a focus on HR applications.
3. Proven experience with Healthstream, Kronos, and Workday is required.
4. Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
10. Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and HR application security.
