Senior Contracts Recruiter – Data & AI / Technology (New York) The Opportunity
An established and rapidly expanding global technology recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Contracts Recruiter to join its high-performing New York office.
This is a rare opportunity to become the founding hire for the Contracts function within one of the fastest-growing technology recruitment teams in the United States. The business has grown from a small startup operation into a multi-award-winning office, consistently producing top global billers and expanding headcount h a second US office recently launched and multiple specialist practices scaling, the firm is now investing heavily in building a dedicated contracts capability in New York.
The successful hire will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing this desk from the ground up, working directly with the US leadership team in a premium Manhattan location.

The New York office has experienced exceptional growth over the past four years:
- Headcount expanded from 2 to 12 consultants
- Multiple “Team of the Year” awards
- Produced the firm’s global top biller for three consecutive years
- Recently launched a second US office in Tampa
Historically strong in Salesforce recruitment, the business has more recently built a rapidly growing Data & AI practice
, creating a major opportunity for an experienced contracts recruiter to establish a high-value desk in one of the hottest markets in recruitment.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant strategic importance. The successful candidate will be the first dedicated Contracts Recruiter in the New York office, sitting directly alongside the US operational lead and working closely with multiple team leaders across Salesforce, SAP and Data & AI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and scaling a specialist contracts desk focused on Data & AI and adjacent technologies
- Developing a high-quality candidate network in a highly competitive market
- Winning new contract clients and leveraging cross-sell opportunities from an already successful permanent business
- Managing the full contract recruitment lifecycle from business development through delivery and account management
- Contributing to the long-term strategy and structure of the US contracts function
This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior leadership and a clear pathway into future leadership as the team expands.
What Success Looks LikeThe business is focused on trajectory and long-term desk building rather than short-term billing pressure. Success in this role will be defined by:
- Building a consistent and scalable pipeline
- Working towards a consistent $10k - $20k WGP
- Establishing a sustainable contracts desk with repeat clients and candidate loyalty
- Playing a key role in the wider growth of the New York office
The firm is open on experience level and will consider recruiters with 1–4+ years’ experience in technology contract recruitment who demonstrate strong upward trajectory and ambition.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in contract recruitment within technology, data, AI, ERP or enterprise systems
- Strong candidate generation and business development capability
- A self-starter mentality with the confidence to build a desk from scratch
- Commercial mindset with a long-term view of desk and career growth
- Desire to progress into leadership as the contracts team scales
