Recruitment Co-ordinator | Contract | £167 per day (umbrella) | Canary Wharf, London | Hybrid
Ceto Talent is recruiting for a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join a busy central government team on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hybrid role based in Canary Wharf, London, requiring 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home. This is a full-time role; flexible working is available.
Essential Requirements
* Proven end-to-end recruitment experience, including pre-employment and onboarding processes.
* Experience working within a civil service or government recruitment environment is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with civil service advertising platforms is advantageous.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a strong track record of resolving recruitment and onboarding issues efficiently.
* Competent in Microsoft Office packages.
* Government clearance required (will be discussed at application stage).
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
As Recruitment Co-ordinator, you will manage end-to-end recruitment processes in line with policy and guidance, ensuring compliance with Civil Service Commission Recruitment Principles while delivering an excellent experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You will provide advice and guidance to vacancy holders, support the drafting of adverts, produce recruitment timelines, and manage expectations around timescales. You will monitor and maintain the recruitment inbox, maintain accurate recruitment logs, and support advertising across appropriate channels.
Following candidate selection, you will ensure all documentation is in place for pre-employment checks, liaise with recruiting managers, undertake conflict of interest checks, and draft secondment contracts and extensions as required. You will also represent the recruitment team at internal meetings, proactively identify risks and issues, and contribute suggestions for continuous process improvement.

Rate: £167 per day (umbrella)
