What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise daily operations and provide clear direction to staff within the department
- Deliver high-quality service related to Leaves of Absence, including FMLA and ADAAA
- Oversee implementation of leave-related policies and ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage complex leave cases and serve as the primary escalation point for resolution
- Collaborate on reporting and analytics to assess performance metrics and trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least four (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in Human Resources
- Comprehensive knowledge of benefits, payroll laws, and regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADAAA)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster collaborative relationships
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, including hiring and performance evaluations
- Proficient in using multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications related to Absence Management and/or Human Resources
- Experience presenting data-driven reports to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with software such as UKG, Kronos, and Workday
- Active involvement in HR networks and user groups for best practices in leave management
