Responsibilities

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Supervise daily operations and provide clear direction to staff within the department
  • Deliver high-quality service related to Leaves of Absence, including FMLA and ADAAA
  • Oversee implementation of leave-related policies and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Manage complex leave cases and serve as the primary escalation point for resolution
  • Collaborate on reporting and analytics to assess performance metrics and trends
Qualifications

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least four (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in Human Resources
  • Comprehensive knowledge of benefits, payroll laws, and regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADAAA)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster collaborative relationships
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, including hiring and performance evaluations
  • Proficient in using multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Certifications related to Absence Management and/or Human Resources
  • Experience presenting data-driven reports to diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with software such as UKG, Kronos, and Workday
  • Active involvement in HR networks and user groups for best practices in leave management
