Rec2 Recruitment is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join a well‑established, high‑growth recruitment business with an outstanding reputation in the market.

Established in 2000, the agency operates a successful hybrid model, with a close‑knit team of around seven recruiters who meet weekly. The Director has recently relocated to the Cambridge area to replicate this proven model and build a strong regional presence.

This role would particularly suit an experienced 360 consultant with an established desk who is looking for greater autonomy, backed by strong infrastructure and operational support.

• Full front and back‑office support

Experienced consultants work with both public and private sector organisations, delivering permanent and contract staffing solutions. Many clients were once candidates, reflecting the strength of delivery and long‑term relationship approach.

• Previous recruitment consultant experience (any commercial sector considered)
• Strong business development and relationship‑building skills
• Self‑motivated and target‑driven mindset
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A desire to build long‑term value with clients and candidates
• Individuals who value autonomy but appreciate strong team support

• Basic salary up to £40,000 (DOE)
