Specialist, Recruiter
Classified as remote position, but would like them to be in the Yorba Linda/ LA California area
Job Description:
• Responsible for full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and negotiating.
• Recruit and source candidates using multiple sourcing techniques to include internal and external databases, contact lists, job postings, networking, social media sites, complex internet searches; research and identify markets to tap for qualified talent.
• Pre-screen potential candidates for full-time employee openings.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs, ensure quality of selection and timeliness of hire.
• Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate and hiring manager through all stages of the recruiting lifecycle.
• Prepare salary offers in collaboration with compensation specialists and HR Business Partner; exercise effective influence, consulting, and negotiating skills.
• Upholds legal requirements and company hiring policies, and coaches and guides managers accordingly.
• Proactive tracking of progress in applicant tracking system to ensure metrics are captured and goals are met.
• Operate with a high sense of urgency (action-oriented).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work in a self-directed manner, willing to take initiative and drive tasks to closure.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or equivalent area with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Experience with SAP Success Factors.
• Technical recruiting experience in Engineering or Manufacturing; A&D experience highly preferred.
