Coordinator, Human Resources
The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving organization of the University of Illinois (University). It works closely with alumni and friends, faculty and staff, corporations and foundations, as well as campus development professionals to create fundraising programs and opportunities that benefit the University.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of designated human resource operational activities including talent acquisition, wellness programs, staff engagement, and rewards and recognition. This position will also focus on compiling and analyzing a variety of HR-related metrics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of three years of human resources experience with proven progression of duties
- Proven ability to act independently while exercising good judgment
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and writing
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources
- General knowledge of laws and regulations relating to recruiting, hiring, and HR policy in Illinois.
- HR certified (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) desired.

The starting salary range for this position is projected to be $55,000-$60,000 per year. While our job postings include salary ranges, your compensation will be based on your specific experience and qualifications—we're not limited by these posted ranges.
