Position Overview

At Dutch Bros Coffee, our people-first culture is at the heart of everything we do. As the Sr. Manager of HR Analytics & Strategy, you will be the primary architect of our data-driven people strategy. Sitting within the Finance organization, you will act as the connective tissue between our financial goals and our people initiatives.

In this role, you’ll use advanced analytics to transform complex workforce data into actionable insights that drive hiring, retention, compensation strategy, and organizational design. You will also assist the FP&A team to drive core planning and modeling, connecting the dots between our people-first initiatives and our financial results. Qualifications
  • Experience:

    7+ years in People Analytics, FP&A, or Management Consulting.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power

    BI, or Looker).
  • Strategic Mindset:
    Proven ability to explain technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Systems Fluency:
    Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Bamboo

    HR, UKG) and financial planning software.
Location Requirement:
  • This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon‑Thurs);
    Fridays are optional remote work days.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement a comprehensive HR analytics roadmap. Establish data governance standards to ensure the integrity and security of all people-related data.
  • Modeling & Forecasting: Design and maintain complex models for workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee attrition, and other areas. Move beyond basic reporting to provide predictive and prescriptive insights.
  • Insight Generation: Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable trends. You will identify the "why" behind the numbers to help leadership stay ahead of things like turnover and hiring bottlenecks.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Build and own high-impact dashboards for the C‑Suite and leadership teams. You will highlight key HR metrics in a way that reflects our unique company culture and values.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to both the Finance and People teams. You will provide the data-backed confidence needed for high‑stakes decisions regarding organizational design and total cost of workforce.
  • Systems Optimization: High proficiency in extracting and synthesizing data across various HRIS and ERP platforms to create a single, dependable "source of truth."
Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in HR data analysis.
  • Self-starter, with initiative, drive and the ability to work independently.
  • Track record of success in working with quantitative data, undertaking analysis, and providing reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday) and data visualization tools such as Power

    BI or similar (e.g., Tableau).
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership and HR business partners.
  • Comfortable with conducting deep dives (descriptive/predictive) in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, performance, and retention to understand "why" things happen.
  • Ability to develop and maintain structured, accurate, and repeatable reporting processes.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tell a story through data.
  • Comfortable presenting to Senior Leaders & tackling projects with minimal direction.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, able to partner effectively across teams.
  • A proactive and curious mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and deliver value.
