Position Overview

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, contacting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding caregivers and other field staff for a growing non‑medical home care agency serving clients throughout the State of Ohio as we serve multiple counties.. This is primarily a remote position with periodic in‑office time required to conduct new hire orientation, training, and team meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified caregivers across Ohio.
  • Post job openings on job boards, social media platforms, and other recruitment channels.
  • Actively source candidates through online platforms, referrals, community partnerships, and outreach initiatives.
  • Contact applicants promptly to conduct phone screenings and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct structured interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and employment verifications in compliance with Ohio regulations.
  • Manage all onboarding documentation including new hire paperwork, compliance forms, and credential verification.
  • Facilitate or coordinate new hire orientation sessions (virtual and in‑office as required).
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records in HR systems.
  • Track recruitment metrics including time‑to‑hire, applicant flow, and retention trends.
  • Collaborate with leadership and scheduling teams to anticipate staffing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal employment laws and home care regulations.
Qualifications
  • Previous recruiting or human resources experience preferred.
  • Experience in home care recruitment strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct professional and engaging interviews.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the office for orientation and team meetings.
Work Environment

This position is primarily remote. The Recruiter must have a reliable internet connection, private workspace, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Some in‑office time is required for new hire orientation and periodic team collaboration.
