What We’re Looking ForAn energetic, motivated Payroll & HR Specialist to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.
What You’ll Be DoingThe responsibilities of this position will primarily focus on payroll, prevailing wage, and general HR needs related to payroll. As such, the candidate will be required to interact frequently with employees internally from the Operations, Service, and Sales groups. The standard work hours for this employee are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Remote work may be available as well.
Specific Duties- Processing payroll on a biweekly and as-needed basis for multi-state organization
- Posting payroll JE to ERP software, including month end accruals
- Processing wage garnishments
- Making adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses, benefits, and commissions
- Balancing accounts after posting payroll JE
- Distribute live checks for payroll as needed
- Certified payroll reporting for prevailing wage jobs, including subcontractor, customer, and internal communications
- Updating pay changes in ADP and processing appropriate documentation through Docusign
- Submit tax rate changes through ADP
- Oversee certified payroll reporting software
- Produce commission and bonus statements on a monthly basis, abiding by commission schedules
- Issuing cover sheet for commissions
- Make commission adjustments as needed
- Manage commission schedule documents
- Assist HR team with general payroll needs, including onboardings and terminations
- Bachelor’s degree inhuman resources, accounting, business or relevant field
- 1-2 years of ADP Workforce Now or relevant payroll experience
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal manner to customers and to those within the company, while maintaining a positive and productive attitude
- Demonstrate strong time management skills
