Position Title: Contingent Recruiting Coordinator (Fully Remote)
This is not a regular full-time position. Hours vary based on business need.
This is a contingent Recruiting Coordinator position supporting a fast-paced BPO/call center environment. Due to the nature of the business, recruiting needs can fluctuate daily. As such, this role requires a high degree of schedule flexibility and responsiveness
. This is not a benefits eligible or 1099 eligible role.
We’re seeking candidates who are:
- Available on a short/limited notice basis
, especially during peak times or when recruiting is needed unexpectedly. - Comfortable with inconsistent hours
, including weeks with limited or no scheduled work, and others with multiple shifts and/or full-time schedules. - Willing to work during volume spikes
, such as large-scale hiring events, new client ramps or back filling unexpected attrition. - Hours of availability – must be available between normal business hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm CT
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly dependable and adaptable Contingent Recruiting Coordinator to provide flexible, as-needed support to our recruiting team. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys stepping in during peak periods, coverage needs, or special projects. This position will support the recruitment process by screening/interviewing candidates, answering candidate inquiries, dispositioning applicants/candidates according to position requirements and maintaining accurate candidate tracking for internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, schedule and track candidate progression via recruiting tools and resources such as the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and scheduling software Calendly
- Screen applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements
- Ensure candidates are kept up to date during the recruitment process.
- Ensure Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is accurate related to requisition data, applicant status and ensure notes and communications are in compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as company expectations.
- Make recommendations on improving recruitment, new hire and other HR processes
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Assist with recruitment-related projects.
- Support HR and Recruiting team with onboarding activities as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in Recruiting/Talent Acquisition
- Available on a short/limited notice basis
- Must be willing and able to accept and work at least 90% of the hours offered.
- Due to the contingent nature of this role, scheduling is based on business demand. While total hours are not guaranteed, when hours are offered, the candidate is expected to maintain consistent availability and work at least 90% of those offered shifts unless there is a valid exception (e.g., pre-approved time off, emergencies).
- Working knowledge hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, onboarding, etc.)
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting software
- Sounds judgement, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all matters
- Proficient in using MS Office
- Comfortable with flexible scheduling
- Remote (work from home) experience
- Must reside in TX, IN, NC, NV, TN, PA, or FL
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in Recruiting/Talent Acquisition
- Preferred in a fast-paced or contact center environment
- BPO experience
- Experience using Ulti Pro/UKG
