Who We Are:
We are Destify! We focus on our people, our culture, and our technology. We're reimagining the destination wedding experience, simplifying the complex, celebrating the meaningful, and building technology that connects thousands of couples to their dream celebrations.
Who You Are:
A leader who sees the direct link between a high-performing team and a healthy bottom line. You will be the bridge between our financial goals and the employee experience, ensuring every team member understands their impact on our growth and feels the reward of that effort.
In this role, youll modernize how we support our people, with the autonomy to identify where we can improve and the authority to implement those changes. Whether you're partnering with department leaders to define success for their teams or tuning our recruitment engine to find elite talent, your focus is always on building an environment where high performers can scale.
- A Strategic Partner: You can sit in a leadership meeting and talk P&L, then hop into a 1:1 and lead with empathy and clarity.
- A Problem Solver: You enjoy the challenge of taking a manual process and turning it into something scalable, automated, and effortless.
- A Safety Net: You have a high attention to detail. Youre the one who catches the small tax or equipment errors before they become headaches for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Success- Measuring What Matters: Own the quarterly eNPS process, moving beyond simple reporting to present and execute real strategies that improve team health and retention.
- Company Culture & Events: Lead the end-to-end planning of our company outings and annual retreat.
- Travel Logistics: Oversee the coordination of travel and lodging for quarterly team meetings.
- Lifecycle Refinement: Polish the onboarding and offboarding process to remove friction and ensure a high-level experience.
- Performance 2.0: Move us away from stale check-ins and toward a modern, data-driven review cycle that prioritizes timeliness and actual career development.
- Access & Equipment Coordination: Partner with our outsourced IT team to coordinate equipment logistics and manage essential access, including employee logins and Last Pass.
- Department Leadership: Mentor and manage our internal HR and recruiting team, setting the bar for speed and accuracy.
- Departmental Partnership: Act as a strategic right-hand to our department leaders, helping them navigate team dynamics, workload, and professional growth.
- P&L Alignment: Map individual and team performance metrics directly to company revenue and profitability.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee payroll, benefits, and multi-state tax compliance, while analyzing labor costs to keep us on track with our targets.
- Quality Pipeline: Lead our recruitment function to bring in elite talent while significantly reducing the time it takes to hire.
- Leadership Support: Optimize the screening process so senior leaders only spend time with the highest-quality candidates.
- Building our Brand: Create a recruitment brand that attracts A-Players who are motivated by high-performance cultures.
- Experience: 8+ years in People Ops/HR, including at least 3 years leading a team.
- The "GM" Mindset: You speak the language of finance and understand how people decisions impact the P&L.
- Process Engineering: You have a track record of rebuilding inefficient departments from the ground up.
- Recruitment Mastery: You know how to manage high-growth hiring cycles without sacrificing the quality of the candidates.
- Tech-Savvy: High proficiency in HRIS platforms and password management tools like Last Pass.
- EOS Knowledge: Experience working within the Entrepreneurial Operating System is a strong plus.
