Overview
Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking an Employee Relations Manager (Seasonal Maternity Coverage). Reporting to the Senior Director of Employee Relations, this role will support Louis Vuitton Americas, with a focus on US Retail, administering policies and programs in the areas of Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compliance and general HR policy and procedures. By leveraging employee relations expertise with an unbiased approach, the ER Manager will ensure a comfortable and safe work environment for employees, provide guidance on HR topics and mitigate risk for the Company.
Responsibilities- Handles day-to-day employee relations issues for store employees, including disciplinary action, coaching and counseling, internal investigations and terminations. Ensures consistency in decision making and compliance with local law.
- Conducts full-cycle investigations into employee concerns arising from their scope of stores.
- Advises managers and employees using pre-established guidelines and instructions.
- Reviews or prepares written documentation such as corrective actions, performance improvement plans, job abandonment letters, etc.
- Develops and provides formal training to management on Employee Relations topics.
- Provides informal coaching to managers on human relations skills (supervision, discipline, etc.) and employment law.
- Partners with Employment Counsel on employment cases and implementation of new employment legislation.
- Develops and implements strategies impacting employee morale, performance improvement, workplace culture, and workplace environment training.
- Manages the electronic learning management system for all Employee Relations trainings and ensures compliance with required harassment trainings.
- Manages the electronic background check system.
- Assists with employee termination packages related to store closings or job eliminations.
- Reports and tracks all employee documentation and investigations; analyzes data for patterns and trends; supports management review and identification of training opportunities.
- Manages the religious accommodation process.
- Maintains all relevant Employee Relations documentation used by HR Generalists and management.
- Compiles and documents HR policies and procedures data from competitors and industry literature, and presents recommendations to management.
- Assists with HR projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to Employee Relations and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related fields.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- High level of discretion, integrity, and ethical conduct
The appointed candidate will be offered a competitive base salary, ranging from USD $80,000 to $110,000 annually, with a range of USD $90,000 to $125,000 for candidates residing in New York or California.
In addition to base compensation, this fully remote position is eligible for medical coverage. This opportunity is open to qualified candidates in all states.
