Recruiter, HR / Recruitment Consultant

Join our team as a Recruiter in the Healthcare industry, where you’ll play a key role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding top talent. This is an active, hands-on recruiting role that requires strong organization, excellent communication, and consistent follow-through. You will work closely with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth, professional recruitment experience while helping facilities secure the talent needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM South African time – subject to change in accordance with daylight savings in the United States as well as the operational requirements of the Company).
- You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
- Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
- Work Environment: This is a fully remote working role.
Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Source, screen, and engage candidates for Skilled Nursing Facility roles across the U.S.
- Conduct phone screenings and maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and follow-ups with candidates and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS or tracking systems.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Manage multiple open roles while meeting recruitment timelines and priorities.
- Collaborate with internal recruitment and operations teams to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
Requirements
Industry Experience:
- Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or candidate sourcing.
- U.S. healthcare recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), long-term care, or similar healthcare environments is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up discipline.
- Pleasant, professional phone presence and ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple candidates simultaneously.
Technical Skills:
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and Outlook.
- Comfortable navigating systems, databases, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- No advanced Excel skills required.
