Talent Manager, Recruiter, HR / Recruitment Consultant
Job Synopsis: The HR Recruiter will join the MCC U.S. HR Team in carrying out an organization-wide recruitment strategy, leading selection processes to fill MCC vacancies globally, and ensuring smooth onboarding. This position is responsible for translations between English and Spanish for the HR department. The HR Recruiter will also attend recruitment events on behalf of MCC as needed and provide backup support to HR colleagues during peak work times.
Schedule for this position may include some irregular hours to meet with selection teams and interview candidates across time zones. Location can be at the office in Akron, PA or remote from a U.S. state where MCC is a registered employer.

Specific Tasks and Duties:
HR Recruitment and related HR Duties 90%
HR specific translations 10%
Responsibilities- Provide leadership to selection and placement processes for all assigned vacancies, including U.S. domestic and international vacancies requiring facilitation in both English and Spanish.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to create appropriate Job Description s and lead selection processes, facilitating selection team for assigned vacancies.
- Educate selection team members to navigate HRIS for candidate information and ideal hiring processes.
- Provide administrative support for scheduling selection team meetings and interviews, considering multiple time zones; scheduling may require the Recruiter to occasionally work irregular hours.
- Conduct any required background checking with respective invited candidates.
- Onboarding:
Support candidates during the period between offer letter acceptance and start date with MCC, educating about MCC, ensuring access in the HRIS, assisting with logistics and preparing candidates for onboarding to MCC. - Close relevant vacancies in the HRIS and ensure that the new Team Member setup in the HRIS is completed.
- Create and implement recruitment plans for assigned vacancies and cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders as recruitment ambassadors to ensure broad awareness of available MCC openings.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and other recruiters to implement MCC’s recruitment strategy, attend Recruitment Network meetings, and work with Recruitment‑Network to ensure information about MCC’s international and domestic openings are easily accessible to support the overall Recruiting Strategy.
- Join committees, focus groups, and special projects as needed.
- Attend recruiting events and engagements to represent MCC.
- Stay aware of recruitment needs for US, Canada, and International Program, actively support promotion of MCC openings, and assist with advertising for vacancies or service opportunities as assigned.
- Respond to candidate leads who contact MCC for guidance on possible service assignments, ensuring their information is entered and kept current in the HRIS for recruiters to access.
- Assist with training MCC staff on new HR processes or features as they are rolled out for implementation.
- Provide backup support to HR colleagues, primarily related to Candidate Care subgroup functions and potential backup to other groups as needed particularly for assigned projects.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert on bias awareness in recruitment and selection, collaborating with the US HR Team to improve MCC’s ability to be an inclusive employer and remove barriers that affect staff retention and advancement.
- Translate HR information from English into Spanish, such as policies, best practices, communication pieces, forms, etc., utilizing inclusive and standard language.
- Assist with or communicate directly with Spanish speaking Team Members and candidates as needed for HR topics, typically including recruitment, selection, hiring, benefits, compensation, policy interpretation, worker care, exit info, etc.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to better formulate policy, best practices, communication pieces, etc. based on learning from these interactions to increase the team’s intercultural competencies.
