Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll / HR Specialist to support our payroll operations and human resources functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, maintaining employee records, supporting benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor and payroll laws.
The ideal candidate is reliable, discreet, and comfortable working with sensitive information. This position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options
, as well as a hybrid work environment after onboarding.
- Process payroll accurately and timely for employees in accordance with company policies
- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and with holdings
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with internal or external audits
- Coordinate with accounting and finance teams as needed
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR records
- Assist with benefits administration including enrollment and changes
- Support compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and internal procedures
- Respond to employee HR-related questions in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with HR reporting and administrative tasks as needed
- Prior experience in payroll processing and human resources administration
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance requirements
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually (based on experience and role type)
Annual Bonus: Typically 10% – 20% of base salary
