We’re looking for outstanding professionals to join our HR team! Our Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist will be a vital member of our Human Resources team. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Leave of Absence and Accommodations program s is an entry to mid-level opportunity with room for growth within our Total Rewards group.

Responsibilities- Provide support with teammate inquiries pertaining to the leave of absence claim process
- Assist the field HR team on the absence management process, including the administration and documentation of leave case workflow
- Support the day-to-day absence management vendor relationship
- Collaborate with carrier and vendor partners on troubleshooting complex escalated matters pertaining to leave inquiries and issues, customer service quality, reporting, etc.
- Work in conjunction with the payroll team on issuing pay for teammates on an approved leave of absence
- Support the manager in performing ongoing leave audits to ensure internal and external systems align with approved leaves
- Update teammate records in the HRIS system
- Maintain knowledge of leave laws, regulations, and company leave policy
- Assist in identifying opportunities for continued process improvements
- Complete other duties as assigned

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related discipline
- 2 - 4 years of HR, benefits, absence management, and/or consulting experience, preferably in a large corporation
- Working knowledge of state, local, and Federal benefit laws and guidelines, including FMLA and ADA
- Strong people skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise notes and documentation
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Working knowledge of HRIS/HCM products (UKG Preferred)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge

- Experience with Unum
- Experience in Field Leave and ADA Administration
- We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks. Candidates must have the ability to perform the requirements of the job with or without accommodations.
- Candidate must reside or be willing to self-relocate to the metro Atlanta area.
