We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage all HR functions in a fully remote environment. This role is responsible for developing HR policies, supporting employee relations, ensuring legal compliance, and partnering with leadership to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with U.S. labor laws
- Manage employee records, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR documentation
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, compliance, and organizational development
- Handle employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Lead performance review processes and support employee development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Manage offboarding, terminations, and exit processes professionally and compliantly
- Maintain confidentiality and data security across all HR activities
- Must reside in the United States
- Must possess a valid government-issued
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor and employment laws
- Experience managing HR functions in a remote or distributed workforce
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
- Experience supporting multi-state or remote U.S. teams
- Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance reporting
- Strategic thinking and decision-making
- High level of integrity and discretion
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
