Overview
Hardesty Leadership Center - Tulsa, OK 74134
Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Temporary part-time position (up to 20 hours per week) for up to 4 months. Position is primarily in office at the Hardesty Leadership Center, 4801 S 129th E Avenue, Tulsa, OK, but remote work can be scheduled. Previous experience supporting hiring managers with recruiting efforts is required. Also will be supporting the Camp & Outdoors team by managing a facility and camp reservation system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Update internal databases
- Post job openings and review applications for employment
- Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule interviews, either in person or virtually
- Prepare HR documents, such as employment offers and new hire orientation documents
- Update company policies
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
- Create reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
- Answer employee queries about HR-related issues
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information
- Process expense forms
- Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event)
- Support CHRO as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Human Resources/Recruiting experience.
Required
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook and common applications.
- Experience with HR software;
Paycom experience preferred. - Exceptional customer service skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or related role
- Working knowledge of labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, as needed or required.
