Payroll Specialist

Overview

Please note that this job is HYBRID. You will be required to work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the office in Downtown Denver. You may work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading construction company to fill their open Payroll Specialist job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. Candidates who have experience with Deltek and/or UKG/Ultipro software are preferred.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $65,000 and $70,000 annually. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).

• Entering and updating employee payroll information in the HRIS
• Reviewing timesheets and expense reports weekly for accuracy
• Preparing and processing payroll, garnishments, etc.
• Recording payroll activity in the General Ledger
• Importing and exporting timesheet data
• Monitoring and assigning payroll tickets
• All other related tasks as required

• At least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills
• Previous experience with Deltek and/or UKG/Ultipro software strongly preferred
• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field highly preferred

• Annual salary between $65,000 and $70,000
