Payroll Specialist Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Monday-Friday Remote We're working with a well-established, fast-growing technology business that delivers innovative workforce management solutions to organisations across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their finance function and play a key role in delivering an accurate, compliant and high-quality payroll service.

The Role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll support the Payroll Manager and work closely with Finance and HR teams. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, offering variety, responsibility and the opportunity to improve processes.

Key responsibilities include:

End-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Administration and promotion of employee benefits via the company benefits platform Ensuring compliance with PAYE legislation and internal policies Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external bodies (HMRC, pension providers, etc.) Acting as a payroll subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to employees Processing P11

Ds, P60s and P45s Monthly payroll headcount and cost analysis, including budget comparisons Maintaining payroll forecasts based on workforce changes Supporting and leading monthly sales commission schedules and P&L reconciliations Continuous Improvement You'll also play an active role in improving payroll, benefits and HR systems by:
Identifying gaps and opportunities within existing systems Working with external providers and HR systems teams on enhancements and compliance changes Participating in (and leading where appropriate) payroll- and HR-related projects Reviewing and improving the employee benefits platform and communications About You You'll be an experienced payroll professional who enjoys ownership, accuracy and continuous improvement.

Key requirements:

Proven experience across payroll, benefits and HR processes Experience managing payrolls across multiple jurisdictions Recognised payroll qualification Strong knowledge of PAYE and statutory pay processes Excellent communication skills Strong Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail
