Job Title: Recruiting Specialist
Location: Remote, must reside in Ohio
Job Type: Temporary - 8-12 week assignment
The Elevator PitchIn this versatile and highly impactful role, you will partner with our communities on creating and executing effective recruiting strategies and tactics to fill openings in a high-volume capacity. Collaborating with peers and hiring leaders, this role makes an immediate impact by recruiting and hiring our Care Force. Our Care-Force includes front-line hourly workers and salaried leaders within our over 200 Communities across 8 states.
Our Talent Acquisition team thrives in a fast-paced environment, and we demonstrate agility in guiding our candidates and hiring managers through the hiring process. Where is this role located?Remote:
The recruiting specialists work remotely, with 15% travel and in-office meetings. The successful candidate will be in Ohio.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, and skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
- Managing 25-35 requisitions at a given time; the recruiter works efficiently to fill roles with quality talent, in a high volume capacity across various skill sets.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies that will provide adequate staffing for assigned communities and assigned corporate business units.
- Implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent throughout the organization.
- Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing needs of the communities and assigned corporate business units.
- Partner with communities to provide exceptional candidate experiences throughout the hiring process.
- Upskill your hiring managers by providing interview training and consultation, and ensuring they remain compliant with the process and candidate experience expectations.
- Engage with the community through college recruiting and networking, professional networks, trade schools, etc.
What are the performance outcomes over the first 12 months?
- Learn and be curious – your onboarding at Wallick will include meeting and shadowing with stakeholders and visits to our communities to learn our culture, our business, and interact with our care-force staff. You will also shadow your peers and learn about the positions we fill.
- Relationship Building:
Create and foster strong, strategic partnerships with Executive Directors and Regional Leadership. - Deliverables:

You are agile in a fast-paced service-oriented role.
- You have about 5 years of high-volume recruiting expertise and success. We’d love if you had experience in the Senior Living or Real Estate industries, but we’re open to meeting great talent across the board.
- You’re customer focused, goal oriented, and a great relationship builder.
- You are excited to travel on occasion to attend hiring events and community events. Some may be evenings and weekends.
- You’re a self-starter and driven.

- You have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
