OverviewAs a Manager, HRIS at Dollar Tree’s corporate office, you’ll play a critical leadership role in overseeing the optimization, administration, and strategic development of Dollar Tree’s Workday platform. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, system configuration, and seamless integration with other business systems. The Manager will partner with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, and business units to align system capabilities with enterprise-wide people strategies.
Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day management, maintenance, and enhancement of Workday modules including HCM, Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Reporting.
- Serve as the internal expert on Workday capabilities and recommend solutions to improve HR processes, workflows, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (HR, IT, Payroll, Finance) to ensure system integrations, data flows, and business needs are met.
- Design and deliver Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making.
- Manage HRIS analysts and/or vendors to deliver timely support and technical solutions.
- Drive system configuration and testing related to new functionality, enhancements, or system upgrades.
- Support data governance, privacy, compliance (SOX, GDPR), and security protocols for HR systems.
- Lead Workday system releases and ensure successful testing and adoption of new features.
- Maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Identify and resolve issues and recommend system or process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of HRIS experience, with at least 3 years in a Workday environment, preferably in a high-volume, multi-location environment.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and best practices.
- Experience with Workday configuration, report writing (Advanced, BIRT), and business process frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, internal teams, and system stakeholders.
