The Opportunity with Mc KinstryWe are adding an HR Operations and Benefits Manager to our growing Human Resource division in Seattle, Washington. In this role you will:
- coach and lead staff in the People Services area, enhancing the experience of our employees and managers through operational excellence
- work with benefits broker on management of vendor relations and service levels
- oversee service culture, approach and response to employee and manager questions
- manage the work of the team ensuring accuracy and timely completion of work
- recommend process documentation and workflow improvement
- act as liaison to the larger HR Ops team ensuring alignment with department strategy and roadmap
- identify improvement opportunities and make recommendations to HR Ops Director
- 5 years' experience managing people required
- demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of an HR Generalist including benefits, HRIS, Onboarding, and compliance required
- bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related degree or equivalent work experience required
- PHR/SPHR or equivalent experience required
- ten (10) years of experience in Human Resources required
- working knowledge of Federal, state, and local Employment law required
- advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred
- strong communication skills required, to include:
- ability to express selfboth written and verbal
- ability to draw discussions to conclusion
- ability to speak in front of a group and interact with senior company leaders
