Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm EST. M, F Work from Home, Tu, W, Th, Office.
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of HR tasks in areas including administration, employee file maintenance, onboarding, benefits administration, and answering HR-related questions. Excellence in this role is achieved by providing timely support to all levels of staff, representing the HR department with outstanding customer service, and successfully onboarding candidates into the company.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain employment records related to employee changes;
- Serve as a primary contact for employee onboarding, working with the HR team and hiring managers;
- Keep the onboarding tracker up to date with each candidate's status;
- Inform job applicants and hiring managers of the candidate status throughout the process;
- Collect and process new hire related paperwork;
- Conduct new hire orientation with the HR team;
- Brainstorm and help develop new hire orientation improvements;
- Track new hire benefit enrollments and assist with benefit-related questions;
- Assist in coordinating open enrollment and training employees on company benefit programs;
- Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures;
- Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship;
- Help monitor employee morale and company culture;
- Administer the compliance program, keeping all regulatory posters and communications up to date;
- Maintain current knowledge of employment laws;
- Facilitate the annual performance review process;
- Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information;
- Plan and help execute onboarding strategies and initiatives;
- Administer the internal Learning Management System (LMS);
- Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, standards, and regulations;
- Process verifications of employment;
- Complete other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent required;
At least five (5) year of Human Resource experience required;
Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time;
Have an ability to multi-task;
Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Resources or equivalent field of study (Associates degree can be substituted for more than 5 years of HR experience)

The environment is characteristic of an office setting with moderate noise levels. Individuals must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
