About The Role
As a Technical Recruiter , you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our technical teams by owning the full recruitment lifecycle from end to end. This is more than a hiring role—you’ll be a strategic talent partner, helping us attract and engage top engineers, data scientists, and AI talent who will shape the future of our organization.
You’ll work closely with hiring managers in a fast‑paced startup environment, leveraging creative sourcing strategies, deep technical understanding, and relationship‑driven recruiting. In addition to talent acquisition responsibilities, this role will provide backup support for core HR functions, contributing to the overall success of the People team.
What You’ll Do Recruitment & Talent Acquisition- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, technical requirements, and role expectations.
- Own the full‑cycle recruiting process, from intake through offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Source and attract top technical talent through job boards, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates.
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches and platforms such as Linked In Recruiter.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines for high‑priority technical roles, including engineers and data scientists.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess technical and cultural alignment.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.
- Manage candidate communications and provide timely updates throughout the hiring process.
- Negotiate offers in partnership with hiring managers and HR, ensuring a positive close experience.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive technical talent markets.
- Build long‑term relationships with candidates to support future hiring needs.
- Provide backup support for core HR functions during team absences.
- Assist with maintaining confidentiality and compliance across HR and recruiting activities.
- 3+ years of full‑cycle technical recruiting experience, supporting roles such as engineers, data scientists, and AI professionals.
- Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and terminology, including programming languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies.
- Hands‑on experience using sourcing tools and platforms, including Linked In Recruiter.
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality in HR and recruiting matters.
- Experience recruiting in the following domains:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Machine Learning (ML)
- Data Engineering
- Familiarity with HR processes and basic labor law concepts.
- Experience recruiting in a startup or high‑growth environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
