This Senior Compensation & Stock Analyst role is in Illinois. You will lead the administration and optimization of compensation and equity programs that directly impact employee motivation, retention, and engagement. You partner closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure total rewards programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Accountabilities- Administer compensation structures, job architecture, and equity plans, ensuring accurate and compliant execution of RSUs, PSUs, options, and ESPP programs.
- Partner with HRBPs, managers, and recruiters to provide guidance and implement targeted compensation solutions, including promotions, retention, and ad-hoc adjustments.
- Lead annual compensation cycles, bonus calculations, and equity grant processes, maintaining audit-ready documentation and full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct benchmarking and market research, participating in salary surveys and utilizing compensation software to ensure competitive total rewards.
- Liaise with internal partners (Legal, Payroll, Finance, Tax) and external providers to deliver high-quality service and resolve inquiries efficiently.
- Analyze compensation and equity data to identify trends, inform strategy, and improve processes, including leveraging AI tools for enhanced efficiency.
- Prepare, reconcile, and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation and equity metrics to support informed business decisions.
- 5+ years of relevant compensation experience, with strong equity administration knowledge preferred.
- Experience with HRIS and stock administration platforms (e.g., E
* Trade, ADP Workforce Now). - Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Google Suite or similar productivity tools.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to support compensation decisions.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to equity and compensation programs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to advise leaders and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to maintain high accuracy, manage multiple priorities, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Competitive base salary: $128,000–$150,000 USD annually, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.
