UHP's best-in-class clinical program covers three sub-specialties (urology, gastroenterology, and radiation oncology) and offers numerous ancillary services, including pathology lab, in-office dispensing, and chronic care management. We are led by a highly accomplished management team and provide a full suite of management services to its affiliated practices. UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of People Services to lead and oversee all aspects of our human resources and people operations. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in developing and implementing people strategies that align with business goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive organizational success.

This is a hybrid/remote position, and worker location must be within Unio Health Partners authorized states: AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, , IL, IA, NV, NM, OR, SC, TX, VA, WA and WI.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and execute comprehensive people strategies that support the company’s mission, values, and business objectives.

• Lead and manage the People Services team, including HR, talent acquisition, employee relations, learning and development, and organizational development.

• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance management.

• Oversee talent management programs including succession planning, leadership development, and career pathing.

• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations while maintaining best practices in HR policies and procedures.

• Partner with senior leadership to shape company culture and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Analyze workforce metrics and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.

• Manage employee communications and foster a transparent and collaborative work environment.

• Lead change management initiatives related to organizational growth and transformation.

What You Will Bring To The Team

• Proven experience as a VP of People Services or in a senior HR leadership role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

• Strong knowledge of human resources practices, employment law, and organizational development.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective people strategies aligned with business goals.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

• Experience driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

• Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive informed decisions.

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
