The role of the Education Resourcing & Compliance Consultant is an integral part of our business. You will be responsible for ultimately Safeguarding children in nurseries and schools across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Your key accountabilities will be Candidate Resourcing;
Candidate attraction through various job boards, placing and responding to adverts, referrals and generating new ways to source candidates.
This leads to Candidate Compliance;
Candidate registrations online and face to face, processing candidate applications ready to be placed into schools and Customer Service for candidates (and Clients where necessary), whilst keeping up to date with relevant legislation such as KCSIE, DfE, APSCO.
This is a fast paced and rewarding role where you will learn the fundamentals of working in Education Recruitment. The ideal candidate will:
* Have outstanding attention to detail,
* Be investigative and a good judge of information presented to you,
* Be organised and able to multi-task and work in a timely manner,
* Be self-motivated with a resilient mind set to overcome challenges and busy periods,
* Be both a team player as well as having the ability to use own initiative,
* Excellent customer service skills; both verbal and written,
* IT Competence to be able to navigate around Software; CRMs, Microsoft Office and External websites,
* Be able to manage and prioritise workloads as the demands of the business change including your weekly diary to meet deadlines and expectations,
* A confidence in networking and collaborating with a wider partnership of individuals outside of Supply Heroes,
* Adhere to GDPR and confidentiality – training will be provided,
* Have a growth mindset and an ability to reflect,
Main
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Your ultimate priority is to vet and check candidates correctly against APSCO Compliance+ Standards and industry standards before they are placed in to schools by consultants in an efficient but safe manner. You will be communicating with candidates and clients via phone, text message, email and also in person,
* You will manage a candidate pipeline and assist Consultants with sourcing new candidates on Job Boards using Adverts, contacting and obtaining Referrals and other new resourcing strategies, further, booking them in where necessary in the diary for a Consultant to meet online / face to face to begin the compliance process,
* Your goal is to support Consultants place Live candidates into bookings and meet the demands from clients. This requires thinking ahead, responding to new files immediately whilst prioritising candidates through a robust clearance process, whilst adapting quickly to changing guidelines. You will be required a variety of checks whilst providing the best candidate experience,
* Load candidates on to our CRM, and generating vetting forms for registered candidates to be issued to schools,
* To make it your mission to provide candidates with excellent care and guidance through the registration process,
* Pre-empting which candidates are due to expire in the upcoming period, notifying both the candidate and their consultants in advance, so the candidates do not have to stop working during an assignment,
* Scanning files and storing confidentially,
* Keeping the database tidy,
* Work centrally and collaboratively in the team and assist Consultants and other tasks determined by the needs of the business.
* Building good relationships with external Education Recruitment Agencies to obtain references and other information quickly and efficiently.

Pay: £25,000
