Come and join the People Team at our head office in Thame.
You will work as part of a team who are regionally aligned with responsibility for supporting our colleagues and advising our managers on a range of HR processes such as managing attendance, long term sickness, probation and right to work. You’ll work closely with our regional People Business Partners to ensure compliance and best practice is maintained.
This role supports managers with day-to-day people processes such as absence, AWOL, probation, and flexible working requests, while also advising on people policies and low-level employee relations cases. You’ll guide managers through all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, and provide coaching on best practices. A key part of the role involves managing attendance cases, tracking data, and identifying trends to inform business decisions.
Strong communication, organisation, and discretion are essential, along with the ability to assess risks and ensure compliance with employment legislation.

This role will suit someone who is confident in advising line managers, enjoys solving people-related queries, and has a good understanding of HR policies and employment law. It’s ideal for someone with experience in absence or attendance management and handling flexible working requests. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage data, spot trends, and provide actionable insights.
Someone who is approachable, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment would thrive in this role.
- Full Time role 37.5 hours per week
- Monday
- Friday covering shift: 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6pm - Between £28,000- £30,000
