Core Purpose of this role is managing employee relations in compliance with South African labour legislation—including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Labour Relations Act (LRA), Employment Equity Act (EEA), and National Minimum Wage Act (NMWA)—to foster a fair, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace.
In essence, an ER Partner ensures the "people side" of the business runs smoothly, legally, and ethically, fostering an environment where both employees and the business thrive.

Investigate allegations of misconduct transparently and fairly, maintaining documentation and disciplinary actions per LRA and BCEA standards.
Support managers and employees during CCMA arbitration or labour court proceedings, liaise with external legal advisers.
Provide training on labour law, workplace rights, disciplinary processes, EEA obligations, and fair treatment compliance.
Maintain case records, monitor ER trends, and prepare regular reports—highlighting legal compliance, high‑risk areas, and workplace culture insights.
Any other duties as requested by the Senior People Business Partner commensurate with the role.
