AboutThe Role
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic People Manager to lead People operations across the Americas. The role involves partnering with the global People team to deliver seamless HR processes, drive engagement, shape workforce strategy, and maintain compliance with US and Canadian employment law.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all People processes in the US and Canada, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, employee engagement surveys, benefits processing, sickness/absence management, and more.
- Lead People projects for the Americas and other global entities, keeping key stakeholders informed and ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide expert employee relations advice on performance management, career development, absence management, wellbeing, workplace conduct, and escalation to external counsel when needed.
- Autonomously draft HR letters, ensuring statutory compliance and accuracy.
- Drive process improvements using technology, AI, and best practices to increase HR operational efficiency.
- Keep abreast of HR and employment law changes, informing leadership to integrate insights into People strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners such as benefits brokers and legal counsel.
- Support the development of the Boston People team, including satisfaction, wellbeing, workload, training, and performance reviews; may include line‑management responsibilities.
Flexible working arrangements allow up to 50% of hours from home, measured over a rolling two‑week period.

Requirements- 2–3 years of professional HR experience in the US.
- Degree‑level qualification in a relevant discipline (minimum GPA 3.3) or an HR qualification such as SHRM certification.
- Strong knowledge of US employment law and HR best practice; experience in Massachusetts or New York is desirable.
- Extensive experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Proven employee‑relations expertise with a track record of accurate HR advice.
- Experience leading HR projects from planning through to completion, exercising autonomy while collaborating appropriately.
- Collaborative, communicative style with stakeholders and managers.
- Excellent written communication and numerical/financial literacy.
- Courage to challenge, speak up, and influence others while protecting the company's interests.
- Salary $83,000–$85,000 + discretionary profit‑share bonus.
