Lifecycle Specialist

Position Summary:

The Lifecycle Specialist owns the execution of employee and consultant lifecycle processes from onboarding through offboarding. This role delivers a high‑quality end‑to‑end onboarding experience, ensures lifecycle changes, documentation, work orders, and timecard processes are completed accurately and on time, and creates a seamless experience for team members and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own employee and consultant lifecycle changes including hires, promotions, transfers, role changes, and separations.
  • Own the full onboarding experience from prestart through ramp up, coordinating systems, documentation, communication, and cross‑functional handoffs for new hires and consultants.
  • Own offboarding processes end‑to‑end, including system updates, documentation, coordination with internal teams, and exit communications.
  • Prepare and distribute lifecycle change communications to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure lifecycle updates are reflected in Paylocity and related systems.
  • Create, update, and track work orders related to lifecycle changes, project assignments, and role updates, partnering with internal teams to align with approved changes and timelines.
  • Own timecard setup, maintenance, and accuracy for consultants and applicable team members; monitor submissions, follow up on missing or incorrect timecards, and elevate issues as needed.
  • Ensure lifecycle and onboarding processes are followed consistently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Support additional People Operations requests and projects as needed, helping ensure the team remains responsive and effective during periods of change.
What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to manage multiple workflows across onboarding, lifecycle, and operations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort working with HRIS and timekeeping systems.
  • Ability to partner cross‑functionally with People Ops, Finance, IT, and delivery teams.

  • Onboarding experiences are consistent, timely, and positive for all hires and consultants.
  • Lifecycle changes are processed accurately and without rework.
  • Work orders and timecards are complete and on time.
  • Offboarding is handled smoothly and professionally.
  • Employee and consultant records are clean, current, and audit ready.
Required Qualifications
  • Three or more years of hands‑on IT support experience in an internal IT or managed services environment.
  • Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and endpoint devices.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10 and 11, macOS, IT ticketing systems, and employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Working knowledge of One Login, Slack, SharePoint Online, and backup solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting professional services, consulting, or staffing organizations.
  • Familiarity with security best practices including MFA, least privilege, and endpoint compliance.
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed work forces and documentation‑driven environments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and remain calm under pressure.
  • High attention to detail, strong security awareness, and sound judgment in support scenarios.
