This is a standout opportunity for a solid Private Family Associate to join a Tier 1 Legal 500 family team in Manchester at a key moment of change and growth.

The team is looking to appoint a strong associatewho can step in, support partners and senior associates, and run their own high-quality caseload alongside assisted work.

The work is consistently high value, sophisticated and client-led, with no requirement to generate your own work.

• Associate-level family solicitor, ideally around 5 PQE
• Strong experience in high-net-worth private family work
• Comfortable advising clients with assets from £5m+
• Confident in managing your own caseload alongside assisted partner work
• Willing and able to supervise and mentor a trainee on a 1-to-1 basis
• Supportive, collaborative approach with confidence to work autonomously
• No requirement to bring work or hit BD targets (Desired)

• Managing your own caseload of high-value private family matters
• Assisting partners and senior associates on complex HNW cases
• Supervising and mentoring a dedicated trainee, including reviews and sign-offs
• Working closely within a senior, specialist team handling exclusively high-quality work
• Benefiting from strong internal referrals via a large in-house marketing function
• Hitting a clear, achievable billing target of 6 chargeable hours per day

• Quarterly bonus scheme-percentage of salary paid for hitting targets
• Up to 4 days working from home
• Additional bonus for achieving 3 out of 4 quarterly targets
