Freese and Nichols is seeking an Organizational Development (OD) Lead in our Fort Worth or Dallas, Texas offices. As Organizational Development Lead, you will partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer to lead the creation and execution of an enterprise-wide talent development strategy. You will be a hands‑on leader responsible for learning solutions, talent management, and talent development, succession, performance management and more as we continue to expand the OD capabilities for Freese and Nichols.
MajorAccountabilities
- Develop and execute a formal and transparent organizational development processes that enables employees to build and develop their careers.
- Direct staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the firm. Develop and maintain instructional programs.
- Consult with leadership, in partnership with Human Resources Business Partners, on performance, organizational, and leadership matters.
- Develop, implement, and oversee a leadership development program to develop great leaders, as well as fast‑track high potential emerging leaders.
- May guide managers and employees on problem solving, improving performance, organizational diagnosis, goal alignment, teambuilding and continuous improvement.
- Continue to develop and build the organizational development team, assessing current capabilities and future needs.
- Lead the talent planning process and designs solutions related to employee engagement, talent acquisition, and change management.
- Asses, evaluate, and recommend tools, applications and technologies that will help to standardize and automate processes and create organizational efficiency.
- Assess, report, and deliver critical data/metrics related to organizational development processes to leadership and stakeholders across the firm that measures performance against our goals in organizational development metrics.
- Oversee and manage the mentorship and executive coaching programs for the firm.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of related experience, including a strong emphasis on learning, talent development, and project management
- 3 + years of experience in managing multi‑functional departments
- Compelling communicator, both written and verbal, effective at presenting to all levels of the organization, including external shareholders
- Strong leadership skills: ability to engage and inspire; fosters a sense of energy, ownership, and personal commitment to the work; create an environment in which performance excellence is rewarded
