In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver training that strengthens leadership, communication, and organizational effectiveness across departments. You’ll partner with managers and teams to understand their needs and transform insights into engaging, practical learning experiences that create real impact.
You will also play a key role in supporting Employee Resource Groups and mentoring initiatives, helping expand participation and accessibility. As the County continues to grow, you’ll lead new projects and drive leadership and workplace conduct programs grounded in racial equity and social justice. Using both qualitative and quantitative feedback, you’ll evaluate what’s working, listen to emerging needs, and adapt strategies to ensure learning remains responsive and relevant to staff and the community.

Core Daily Responsibilities:- Assess or assist in assessing training and organizational development needs; propose and develop training programs and delivery systems including in‑person, virtual classroom, electronic learning, and independent study.
- Apply a Welcoming Workplace Culture and Conduct lens in all learning development and delivery efforts, including collaboration with stakeholders and peers.
- Develop project budgets; coordinate inter‑departmental input.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design, conduct, and coordinate training programs including defining learning objectives; designing curricula; selecting training methods; designing program evaluations; designing and producing course material and training aids; developing participant selection criteria and assessing program effectiveness.
