All Trails is looking for a strategic, high‑impact Recruiter to lead our talent acquisition efforts. Reporting directly to the Manager of Talent and People Operations, you will be the sole recruiter responsible for shaping how we find, attract, and hire the people who help millions of adventurers explore the outdoors. This role is designed for someone who thrives on autonomy and is eager to build a world‑class hiring engine from the ground up.
You will be a key partner to leadership, managing the full lifecycle of hires across every department. We are looking for a builder who is not just looking to fill roles, but someone who wants to innovate on our processes, leverage modern technology to streamline the candidate journey, and serve as a true ambassador for the All Trails brand.

- As the sole recruiter at All Trails, you will be the face of the company for every candidate and a strategic partner to every hiring manager.
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process for roles across all functions including Engineering, Product, Marketing, Design, Finance and more!
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles, consult on market trends, and set realistic expectations for the talent landscape.
- We do not have a Recruiting Coordinator by design. One of your first major projects will be to audit our current workflows and implement AI tooling to automate scheduling, candidate communications, and administrative tasks.
- Execute and iterate on recruiting workflows. You will identify bottlenecks and implement changes to ensure our process is efficient, equitable, and scalable.
- Deliver a high‑touch experience for everyone in the funnel. You will ensure every candidate leaves with a positive impression of All Trails regardless of the outcome.
- Use recruiting metrics to track pipeline health and provide visibility into hiring progress to the broader People team and leadership.
- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably insplit fast‑paced startup or high growth tech environment.
- You are comfortable pivoting from a Senior Engineer search to a Creative Director or Data Analytics search and take the time to understand the nuances of a role if it is new to you.
- Early adopter of AI tools and have a proven track record of using them to increase your own productivity. You should be comfortable identifying and implementing new AI solutions for the TA function.
- Excel at building trust with hiring managers and can diplomatically provide guidance to keep the process on track.
- You do not just follow a process, you look for ways to make it better and are comfortable navigating and optimizing ATS tools.
- Strong storyteller who can articulate the All Trails mission and the technical depth of our trail data in a way that excites top talent.
